France

Croissants, wine tours, and the search for the perfect croque monsieur defined my picturesque stint in France. My time in Paris was a beautiful, slow paced setting for reflection after my first year of college, and likely one of the first times I really began to think introspectively. Bordeaux was the starting point for one of my dearest friendships, and we somehow wound up having similar travel plans to visit Spain (and eventually D.C. as well). For one’s first trip to Europe, I think France is a wonderful launching point, especially if embracing a different culture and language are of interest to you.
