Canada
Oh Canada! Despite only having visited Quebec thus far, I’m certain the country’s other provinces are just as worthy of exploring. Canada, USA’s northern neighbor, was a gateway of sorts to international travel for me. As a young person newly minted to the idea of just what kind of opportunities a passport and wanderlust can unlock, I don’t think there could have been a better place to begin my travel adventures. The idea of venturing to a new country can be daunting, but the accessibility of Canada, make for an exciting, yet not overwhelming cultural exchange. Something unique about my experience with Canada, is that I have had the great privilege of visiting solo and with friends. Both times, I was blown away by the hospitality and ease of making connections, something not always found when traveling, especially when you’re only visiting for a brief stint. It’s because of the great memories I have of this country that it is at the top of my list for places to visit once the world opens back up!
